Rebuilding Your Credit
The following are issues that my clients frequently have questions about following the completion of a bankruptcy:
- Rebuilding your credit: With the majority of your debt being discharged, you will soon be receiving offer for credit cards in the mail. Be selective and don’t overextend yourself.
- Obtaining your credit report: It is important that you monitor your credit report regularly to see that all discharged debts have been removed.
- Disputing items on a credit report: If any discharged items have not been removed, I can help you dispute the items and work to have any errors resolved.
- Changing information on a credit report: Each credit bureau uses unique processes for changing information on your report. If there are any inaccuracies, I can help you take the appropriate steps to correct them.
